UNDERSTANDING CONSTRAINTS IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This FREE Training is designed for construction project engineers, construction engineers, and project managers to help understand the limiting factors (constraints) and pin down the lingering problem of projects not satisfactorily completed. The core content of the training is mainly referenced from the PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) as applied to actual experience in Philippine setting.
This training hopes to open-up opportunities for existing and would-be project managers to make a difference and raise the bar of performance in construction projects using the Project Management knowledge and skills, specifically delivering the projects on time, within budget, in agreed scope at the same time meeting customer requirement.

SPEAKERS PROFILE
Engr. Martinez has more than 13 years of experience in the field of Project Management, Planning and Scheduling with practical knowledge of Engineering and Construction. Well versed in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Good understanding of PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Other professional skills include Project Progress Monitoring & Control, Cost & Budget Control, Critical Path Analysis, Delay Analysis, Claims & Recovery Plans, Earned Value Method, Resource Planning & Forecasting, and Work Breakdown Structure. Practical Experience in Saudi ARAMCO projects from the study phase to EPC Execution.
Engr. Joel B. Ortiz is the President of J3 Trainers and Consultants, Inc. He is a top notch Civil Engineer having garnered the First Place in the 1982 licensure examination after graduating Magna Cum Laude and being awarded the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence from the University of the Visayas.
He has extensive experience in construction both in the Philippines and abroad, a member of the Project Management Institute – Philippine Chapter and the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE). He is passionate about Quality Management and Safety in Construction with proven expertise in design/planning, and construction of building and road projects.
He is a CMDF-accredited scaffolding inspector, CMDF Accredited Trainer and Assessor, certified CPES evaluator (CPES- Constructors Performance Evaluation System), TESDA-NC 2 certified scaffold erector and an accredited Occupational Safety and Health Consultant by DOLE. He used to be a college instructor and lecturer of Civil Engineering Board Exam Review.

Yes, zoom is required while taking the course.
DOLE-OSH Center is requiring us to monitor you while taking the course.So,Every time you take this course, you are required to join the J3 Virtual Training Room for monitoring purposes via zoom app for your attendance and certificate validation.
Zoom camera is required. This serves as attendance that you are personally taking the course.
Note: you can use 2 gadgets. 1 is for zoom and the other one is for taking the online course.
J3 Virtual Training Room is not a webinar. It is a venue for monitoring via zoom app while the online participants are taking the course, a requirement for mandatory courses to be recorded at the same time serves as attendance of the participants.
