BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A comprehensive 40-hour mandatory basic course on occupational safety and health designed for equipping safety officers and members of the safety and health committee in the general industries with basic knowledge and skills to prevent accidents and illnesses in the general industries

At the end of the training, participants shall be able to:
- Discuss the importance of OSH
- Recall the salient features of the OSH Law
- Define hazards and enumerate the causes of accidents
- Identify hazards, assess risks and recommend control measures
- Develop OSH plans and programs
- Conduct mandatory OSH orientation for all workers
- Perform the roles of the Safety Officer and the OSH Committee
