BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A 2-day training that equips participants with the knowledge and practical tools to implement Behavior-Based Safety in the workplace. It focuses on understanding the relationship between human behavior and safety performance, identifying at-risk behaviors, and applying observation, feedback, and reinforcement techniques to promote a positive safety culture.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, participants are able to:
- explain the principles and concepts of Behavior-Based Safety;
- identify behavioral causes of workplace incidents and unsafe acts;
- conduct behavioral observations and provide constructive feedback;
- develop strategies to encourage safe behavior and reduce at-risk actions;
- integrate BBS processes into existing safety management systems; and
- foster employee engagement and participation in BBS initiatives.
