Course Description

Safety in Scaffold Erection and Inspection is an 8-hour specialized OSH course designed for safety officers, safety inspectors, supervisors, construction foremen and safety and health committee members to ensure safety of scaffolding workers and other persons nearby. It gives emphasis on the general requirements of scaffold safety as well as the components, erection, use and dismantling of supported scaffolds. It details more specific guidelines for safely erecting, using, and dismantling each type of scaffold. It also describes important guidelines for conducting safety inspections of supported scaffolds.
