Course Description

This intensive one-day (8-hour) training program equips employees, supervisors, and safety
officers in commercial and industrial workplaces with the knowledge and skills required to comply
with Republic Act 11058, β€œAn Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health
Standards.”
The course emphasizes hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency planning, and practical
response procedures for workplace emergencies such as fires, earthquakes, floods, chemical
spills, and medical incidents. Participants will learn their legal duties under RA 11058, practice
emergency drills, and develop communication and reporting protocols aligned with DOLE and
OSHC requirements.
