This 40-hour course is designed to provide understanding of the value of intentional effort of the management to control losses by managing pure or non-speculative risks and improve organization’s safety performance and therefore its bottom line.

At the heart of this course is the systems thinking and commitment of management.

LCM is an advanced OHS course and is recommended for those who have already completed the Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Course or the Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Course.

You may use your certificate to get a qualification for Safety Officer 3 and 4.


Prerequisite: Graduate of BOSH SO2 or COSH

Course Objectives

  • Enumerate the importance of risk management and loss control in business operations
  • Clarify the role of management in controlling loss exposure
  • Determine the components of a Loss Control Program
  • Implement, monitor and maintain effectiveness of a Loss Control Program

At the end of the course, participants are able to:

  1. enumerate the importance of risk management and loss control in business operations;
  2. clarify the role of management in controlling loss exposure;
  3. determine the components of a Loss Control Program; and
  4. implement, monitor and maintain effectiveness of the Loss Control Program.

Updates regarding OSH.

i like best is the fact that all of the speakers were highly experienced in their field. they can answer all our queries in both actual practice and what is written according to OSH handbook. they even relate safety practice with other management systems such as ISO.

i have learn more knowledge about loss control topic that did not discuss to the bosh, its a part of continuation but there is a control. however due the pandemic of covid 19 did not face to face to the lecturer or group member due to the signal interrupted .

Sad to say I struggle talaga Kasi via zoom.. Angina ng cgnal ko Maya halos 50 percent Lang talaga learnings ko.. Sayang ang gaganda at magagaling PA naman Sana ang mga speaker.. In the end.. Bravo j3.. Thanks sa experience.. By the way, d3 dn ako sA J3 kumuha ng BOSH way back 2017..andami ko natutunan nun Kasi face to face talaga. Hehehe
