BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Developing and Implementing an Energy Management Program (EnMP) is a 2-day intensive training designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to develop a practical Energy Management Program for their organization. The course covers the legal framework of RA 11285, ISO 50001 Energy Management System principles, energy data analysis, goal setting, and implementation strategies. By the end of the training, participants will draft a complete Energy Management Program tailored to their organization, ready for review and refinement.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the legal and regulatory requirements under RA 11285 and the EEC IRR for energy management.
- Identify and analyze Significant Energy Uses (SEUs) and develop energy performance indicators (EnPIs) for their organization.
- Draft a comprehensive Energy Management Program, including policy, objectives, action plans, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Apply the ISO 50001 EnMS framework and the PDCA cycle to ensure continuous energy performance improvement.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with energy management teams and top management to ensure organizational commitment.
