BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This is a 16-hour course delivered in-person and/or in virtual classroom, designed with the premise that the SUPERVISOR has the greatest responsibility and accountability in implementing the safety and health program. The Supervisor is the best person who can control workers, machines and equipment and the working conditions in his/her area of responsibility on a full-time basis.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES At the end of the course, participants are able to:
1. gain ability to make employees comply with safety rules and policies,
2. own up provision of physical resources for a safe and healthful workplace,
3. own up provision of psychosocial support for a safe and healthful workplace, and
4. administer “accountability” through negative and positive consequences.
