Managing Project Execution and Controls

This course focuses on the execution and control phase of construction projects, where plans are converted into actual work and performance is measured, controlled, and corrected.

Participants will learn how to manage daily project execution, monitor schedule, cost, quality, and risks, implement project controls, and make informed decisions based on actual project data. The course emphasizes practical tools, site-level controls, and real construction scenarios, aligned with PMBOK performance domains, AACE project controls principles, and Philippine construction practice.

This course bridges the gap between planning and results on site.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the project execution phase and the role of controls in construction projects.
  2. Manage daily execution while maintaining alignment with approved plans and baselines.
  3. Apply schedule, cost, and quality control techniques during project execution.
  4. Interpret project performance data and identify early warning signs.
  5. Implement corrective and preventive actions to keep projects on track.
  6. Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
  7. Support management decision-making through clear reporting and controls.

Course Duration: 2 days @ 8 hours per day
