Introduction
To effectively manage energy, there is a need to know the applicable legal requirements and other requirements related to energy efficiency, energy use and energy consumption of a country as well as the industry codes and standards relevant and applicable to energy and environment management.
This Module covers the salient features of Republic Act 11285:2018: Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act and its related Implementing Rules and Regulations, Department Circulars, Administrative Orders and other relevant issuances by the Department of Energy (DOE), the main implementing agency of the EEC Act of the Philippines. Relevant and applicable standards and codes are also described briefly in this Module.
